About Us
Davis Total Lawn Care began providing Lawn Maintenance services to Shelbyville, and Bedford County in 1995. The owners are Richard and Kim Davis. Richard obtained a B. S. degree in Plant and Soil Science from Middle Tennessee State University in 1984. After working years in the agriculture sector, he began working in the public sector as a Quality Control Technician for a local Aluminum Recycling plant. Due to his years working outside and his love for making the landscape beautiful, Richard and Kim started Davis Total Lawn Care. We have experienced growth each year since 1995.
In 2002, we became licensed to apply Weed, Insect and Disease control products to your Lawn and Landscaping. It is required by Law that any person applying these products to your lawn or landscaping, the company/person doing the applications must be licensed as a Commercial Applicator and Certified in the appropriate License Category. Davis Total Lawn Care is Licensed by the Tennessee Department of Agriculture in Horticulture Lawn and Turf, and certified in Category 3 Ornamental and Turf. We are also insured and bonded as required by the state to hold our Pesticide Charter, TDA 1543 is our Charter number.
