Fertilizer needs

Proper determination of you lawns fertilization needs begins with a soil test.

Once it has been determined what your lawn needs we can customize a fertilization program for you. Improper fertilization can be damaging to your lawn and to the environment. Over application of fertilizers can cause rapid and lush growth of the turfgrass requiring it to be cut more often or that more than the recommended amount be removed through cutting. Runoff can also be a problem if too much fertilizer is applied at one time as well, resulting in our streams, lakes and the ground water being polluted.

Some fertilizers have rapid release of nutrients at one time causing a rush of heavy growth. A good lawn fertilizer should contain a percentage of slow release nutrients which will be released to the lawn over a longer period of time preventing the rush of growth seen with other fertilizers.

Our programs are setup to apply the necessary nutrients needed for maintaining a strong healthy, and visually appealing lawn. We apply fertilizers in prescribed quantities at intervals to insure that you get the beautiful lawn you desire. We only use premium quality fertilizers in our programs.

We now offer both granular and liquid fertilizer programs.  The advantage of Liquid fertilizer is quicker green up, and the ability to combine fertilizer and weed control applications.
